Mission & Goals
UpRights is a non-profit organisation based in the Netherlands that supports its partners, including national authorities, judicial institutions, civil society, and international organisations, to effectively use international law to promote human rights, accountability for international crimes, and the rule of law. Our expertise includes advising on the collection, preservation, and use of evidence, on the effective implementation of human rights standards, on the investigation and adjudication of international crimes, and on strengthening the legal and institutional frameworks that protect fundamental rights, promote the rule of law and support societies in transition.
