Mission & Goals
University of Galway has earned national and international recognition as a research led university with a commitment to top-quality teaching. With over 19,000 students and more than 2,700 staff, the University has a distinguished reputation for teaching and research excellence. The University has a growing international profile for its research and has developed a critical mass of expertise that has led to significant success in securing competitive research grants, nationally and internationally.
