Mission & Goals
The University of Bath carries out a range of globally significant research in collaboration with research councils, government, industry, charities, and international partners. Our team of experts use state-of-the-art facilities to carry out leading research in science, engineering, management, social sciences and humanities. We carry out research that makes a difference to society. We are also committed to public engagement. Our researchers are involved in a wide range of local, national and international public engagement activities, events and training programmes. Our facilities are home to a diverse range of research centres and groups. Their extensive research is reflected in our online publications store – a research repository which collects and showcases research publications by University of Bath authors.
EU Legislative Interests
Research and Innovation - EU Horizon Europe research framework programme activity. Research interests across relevant EU policies - for example environmental/climate change, food & health, energy/low carbon. The staff will aim to interact with members of the EU institutions where relevant research expertise can be applied.
Communication Activities
The University of Bath aims to communicate via a wide range of activities, for example sharing academic research findings, consultation responses, and attending relevant hearings in EU institutions (such as the European Parliament), as well as sharing letters to Government/Ministers/Officials setting out policy advice/recommendation hearings where relevant.
