Mission & Goals
UAS4EUROPE aims to strengthen the voice of universities of applied sciences (UAS) in Europe in the field of applied research and innovation. It is both a networking platform for exchanging knowledge and for reaching out to European institutions and stakeholders to ensure a better visibility and integration of UAS in Europe’s research and innovation policies and programmes. UAS4EUROPE represents a total of 150 universities of applied sciences in the European Research Area.
EU Legislative Interests
Current developments in EU research and innovation policies and programmes, most notably Horizon Europe, the European Research Area, and the New European Innovation Agenda. Current developments in EU industrial policies with a link to R&I, most notably Green Deal Industrial Plan, Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform.
Communication Activities
Organisation of annual networking events, regular newsletter, contribution to policy developments via position papers and public/stakeholder consultations. A list of publications is available at https://uas4europe.eu/publications/

UAS4EUROPE is closely working with other (Brussels-based) stakeholders in the area of research and innovation for coordination purposes and to advance shared positions.
