EU Legislative Interests

Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion (2021–2027): Monitoring the implementation and second-half results of the plan within the "Promoting our European Way of Life" priority. AU-EU Joint Vision for 2030: Engagement with the partnership with Africa, focusing on the Global Gateway investment packages and the "A Stronger Europe in the World" framework. Proposals to extend the list of EU crimes to all forms of hate crime and hate speech: Following the legislative developments under "Protecting Our Democracy, Upholding Our Values." Pre-enlargement reforms and policy reviews: Monitoring internal EU reforms and institutional changes necessary for future Union expansion. Strategy to strengthen the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights: Following the implementation of the strategy and the annual reports on the Charter's application.

Member Of

Universal Peace Federation (UPF) France is the French branch of UPF International (registered in Washington DC, USA), whose vision it shares, but from which it is legally independent, and UPF International is an NGO in General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC). UPF France is part of an international network of UPF chapters in Europe and the Middle East under the umbrella of UPF International. UPF France does not have membership in any other entities or structures. In its activities in France, UPF France co-partners in various events with “Fédération des Femmes pour la paix mondiale” (Women’s Federation for World Peace France), a legally separate and independent organization. On the European level, UPF chapters cooperate with Women’s Federation for World Peace, the Podgorica Club and other occasional partners. See https://eume.upf.org for more details.

Organisation Members

UPF France is an association (Law of 1901) and our membership is only comprised of the six individual members of the administration board. This consists of a president, 3 vice-presidents, a treasurer, and a member of the board. For privacy purposes the list of members is available on request. UPF has chapters in a number of European and Middle Eastern countries, as listed on our website at: https://eume.upf.org/who-we-are/national-contacts UPF France does not have any legally affiliated entities, but we are sometimes sponsored by Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Europe and partner with “Fédération des Femmes pour la paix mondiale” (Women’s Federation for World Peace France).

Additional Information

All representatives are volunteers and unpaid. The activities covered by the Register are sponsored by various chapters of UPF in Europe and the Middle East, which are legally and financially independent from UPF France. These chapters also received some funding from Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Europe for the specific activities listed. UPF France is run by volunteers and has supported many of the events listed by the participation pro-bono, with reimbursement of expenses for key personnel, notably its president. We confirm that UPF France did not receive any contributions above €10 000 in 2025. In 2025, Our Kosovo chapter (Federata e Paqes Universale, FPU) was a partner in an Erasmus+ funded project organised by another NGO.
