Mission & Goals
UCAB is a universal Ukrainian agricultural business association, representing more than 200 farmers and agricultural enterprises in virtually every branch of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. As majority of our members are export-oriented, and since the start of Russia's full scale war on Ukraine, more than 50% share of Ukraine's agricultural exports are destined to the EU, UCAB extended its advocacy activities to the EU institutions and authorities of EU Member States. Our mandate is to represent the voice and interests of our members in areas of EU-Ukraine trade in agrifood products, on matters of Ukraine's EU pre-accession negotiations relevant to agriculture, tracking EU legislative developments in areas of climate action and sustainability to the extent they affect access of Ukrainian agricultural exports to the EU.

EU trade policy and regulation in the area of agriculture; EU-Ukraine trade relations affecting Ukraine's agricultural exports, e.g. EU autonomous trade measures for Ukraine, negotiations on bilateral trade arrangements affecting trade in agrifood products; Ukraine's accession to the EU; EU climate action and sustainability policies as affecting agricultural sector.
Communication Activities
Targeted outreach contacts to the EU officials; conferences, roundtables and public events discussing the Ukrainian agricultural sector's role in EU Internal Market.

Additional Information
The amount declared above represents the funding made available by UCAB to an international communications and public affairs company KREAB AB. UCAB has an arrangement with KREAB whereby the latter supports the functioning of an UCAB Brussels office. This figure includes salary compensation paid to UCAB Brussels representative (Nazar Bobytskyi) in line with Belgian legislation, as well as certain amount for representation, office and travel costs.
