Mission & Goals
The Sports for All Federation of Türkiye (HIS) aims to promote grassroots sports, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles for all age groups across Türkiye. Its core mission is to make sport accessible and inclusive for everyone, regardless of gender, age, ability, or background. HIS develops and implements nationwide programs and international projects that foster social inclusion, equality, sustainability, and community well-being through sport and non-formal education.
EU Legislative Interests
Erasmus+ Sport and Youth programmes, EU Work Plan for Sport (2021–2024 and beyond), European Sport Model initiative, EU Physical Activity Guidelines, European Pillar of Social Rights, European Green Deal (in relation to sustainability in sport), and policies promoting inclusion, equality, and mental health through sport.
Communication Activities
The Sports for All Federation of Türkiye (HIS) actively promotes EU values and policies through events, campaigns, and publications aligned with Erasmus+ Sport and Youth priorities. We organise awareness-raising activities such as the European Week of Sport (#BeActive) and the European Week of Winter Sport (EWWS), run communication campaigns on inclusion, health, and sustainability, and publish materials highlighting best practices in grassroots sports, equality, and active lifestyles

Member Of
The Sports for All Federation of Türkiye (HIS) is a member of the International Sport for All Federation (TAFISA) and actively cooperates with the European Network for the Promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA Europe). HIS also collaborates with Erasmus+ Sport and Youth networks, SALTO Resource Centres, and various national and local stakeholders including universities, municipalities, and NGOs promoting grassroots sports, inclusion, and sustainability

The Sports for All Federation of Türkiye (HIS) operates through a nationwide network including 81 provincial representations, affiliated local sport clubs, universities, municipalities, and NGOs. The Sports for All Federation of Türkiye (HIS) is a non-profit public legal entity under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Most activities are funded through public allocations and Erasmus+ Sport grants. Representatives serve in official and voluntary capacities, and no profit is generated from activities. All EU-funded projects are implemented directly by HIS; no subsidiary companies are involved.
