Mission & Goals
We are the leading law firm representing most rights holders in South-Eastern Europe in anti-counterfeiting actions. We also represent the International Anti-Counterfeiting Association REACT, with a full mandate to negotiate and liaise with the authorities in Romania, Moldova, and Bulgaria, playing a key role in legislative projects, as well as in seminars and training conferences for authorities on intellectual property matters.
EU Legislative Interests
we are primarily interested in the legislative policies of the European Commission concerning the protection of intellectual property, trademarks, designs, copyright, and the unitary patent, as well as the legislation on customs protection, the improvement of procedures related to Regulation (EU) No 608/2013, and any other related legislation with an impact on anti-counterfeiting actions and the protection of intellectual property.
Communication Activities
Anti-counterfeiting training seminars in Chișinău, Bucharest, and Sofia, as well as annual graduation events dedicated to corporations, police officers, and customs officials. Annual conferences and training sessions for judges specializing in intellectual property. Each year, the IP Day conference is organized in Bucharest, bringing together all public and private partners in the field of intellectual property. Serving as Vice-President of the Working Group on Intellectual Property Issues in Bucharest, which acts as the national counterpart of the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights in Alicante.
