Mission & Goals
Founded in Denmark in 2007, Trustpilot is a leading online consumer reviews platform. Our vision is to be the universal symbol of trust that brings consumers and businesses together through reviews. We help consumers make the right choices and businesses build trust, grow and improve. For consumers, we provide a way to connect with and influence businesses by giving them a voice. For businesses, we provide the means to improve and innovate by collaborating with consumers. We are open to everyone, independent, transparent and impartial, and free to use. We play an important role in helping to drive competition – supporting consumers to make informed choices, empowering businesses to improve their offerings and helping new or smaller businesses increase their visibility and build their reputation with consumers. The reviews on Trustpilot are real opinions from real people and we employ robust processes to detect and remove fake information, and protect the integrity of our content.
