Mission & Goals
TreeAI is a European innovation initiative dedicated to leveraging artificial intelligence, data science, and digital infrastructure to address systemic challenges across multiple sectors. Our mission is to design and deploy technology-driven solutions that strengthen resilience, transparency, and sustainability in Europe. TreeAI seeks to apply its methodologies and digital tools to diverse areas such as pharmaceutical logistics, sustainable transport, and supply chain governance. By building strong interdisciplinary partnerships, we aim to demonstrate how technology and research can deliver practical benefits for health, mobility, industry, and natural resource management.
EU Legislative Interests
TreeAI closely follows and aligns with a broad set of EU legislative proposals and policies that shape Europe’s green, digital, and resilient transitions. At the core of our interest are the initiatives under the European Green Deal, including the EU Climate Law, the Fit for 55 package, the EU Forest Strategy, the Biodiversity Strategy 2030, and the Circular Economy Action Plan, all of which establish the framework for sustainability and climate neutrality. Equally important is the EU Digital Strategy, particularly the Artificial Intelligence Act, the Data Governance Act, and the European Data Strategy, as these define the responsible, transparent, and secure use of AI and data infrastructures across sectors. TreeAI also monitors the EU Pharmaceutical Strategy, the European Health Union, and legislation on medicines and medical devices, with a particular focus on strengthening the resilience, safety, and transparency of pharmaceutical logistics and supply chains. In the field of mobility and transport, we engage with the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy, the revision of the TEN-T Regulation, and broader EU efforts to decarbonise logistics and improve efficiency in cross-border transport corridors. Our activities are further linked to the Supply Chain Due Diligence Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, both of which aim to improve accountability, transparency, and resilience in industrial and logistics operations. Finally, TreeAI positions itself within the broader EU research and innovation ecosystem by aligning with Horizon Europe, the Digital Europe Programme, and the EU Industrial Strategy, including the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP). Through these policies, TreeAI seeks to contribute to Europe’s competitiveness and sovereignty while ensuring that innovation in artificial intelligence, data, health, transport, and environmental governance is applied in ways that create tangible benefits for European citizens and communities.
Communication Activities
TreeAI communicates its activities and contributions to EU policy through participation in Horizon Europe and Digital Europe dissemination events, workshops, and public consultations. We publish project results, policy briefs, and stakeholder reports to ensure transparent access to knowledge and promote evidence-based policymaking. Our communication channels include dedicated websites, open-access digital dashboards, social media outreach, and contributions to EU-level conferences. TreeAI also engages in campaigns and awareness activities focused on climate resilience, responsible AI, pharmaceutical logistics, and sustainable transport, ensuring that technological innovation is directly connected to European policy priorities.
