Mission & Goals
Transport Innovation Association unites almost one hundred partners within Lithuania and beyond. The main issues that the organisation works with are: (1) innovation and digitisation in transport and logistics chains; and (2) smart green mobility. The Association seeks transport sector to develop its competitiveness in a sustainable manner in Lithuanian and international markets.
EU Legislative Interests
Electronic freight and transport information Regulation (eFTI) and its implementing acts, Green Deal, EU mobility space, The Effort Sharing Regulation, The Social Climate Fund and others.
Communication Activities
We are working on being ready to implement EFTI regulation in Lithuania and within the Baltic Sea Region also seeking to implement projects combating with the effect to climate change caused by transport sector. Being member of EIT Urban Mobility, EUSBSR we seek to become trustworthy partners for Horizon proposals. We provide proposals for Lithuania’s positions being formulated with regard to EU legislation, and we also strive to monitor EU initiatives and inform the relevant policymakers in EU institutions about Lithuania’s actions related to the implementation of specific programs, in order to ensure the transmission of accurate and traceable information and to accelerate the green transition in the country.
