All activities adhere to international standards, with independent validation by organizations like ICR and Gold Standard. TEG operates in coal-dependent regions, applying just transition principles such as job creation, retraining & economic diversification. Our work with public institutions is informational, supplying scientific and technical input for climate policy, not lobbying. EU Legislative Interests

TransEnergy Global (TEG) collaborates with EU institutions by providing technical expertise, scientific evidence, and policy-relevant input on climate mitigation, energy transition, and carbon markets. TEG does not lobby for commercial interests but supports EU initiatives related to global energy financing and Article 6 cooperation. Key EU policy areas connected to TEG’s work include: • EU Global Gateway – Climate & Energy Window TEG’s coal-abatement and energy-transition projects align with the Gateway’s aims to mobilize renewable energy investment, support just transitions, and expand climate finance, particularly in Africa. • EU–Africa Strategy & Just Energy Transition Partnerships (JETPs) TEG’s Project Mzansi in South Africa supports EU–Africa cooperation mechanisms and contributes expertise on fair transition planning and renewables expansion. • EU International Climate Policy – Article 6 & Carbon Markets TEG’s work supports EU policy on carbon-market integrity and transparency, operating Gold Standard/ICR pathways for credible mitigation outcomes. • EU Development Policy & External Action TEG commits 30% reinvestment into renewables and social programs, aligning with EU pillars like energy access, community resilience, and development partnerships. • EU Sustainable Finance & Private-Capital Mobilisation TEG informs EU efforts to mobilize private finance for clean energy, promote taxonomy alignment, and convert stranded assets into bankable renewable projects. • EU Climate Diplomacy & External Energy Security TEG contributes to EU climate diplomacy with emerging economies and supports G20, COP, and Africa–EU dialogues.
