Mission & Goals
The UK Depositary Association was formed in 1999 and represents the industry views of depositaries of open-ended investment companies (OEICs), and Authorised Contractual Schemes (ACS) and trustees of unit trusts within the UK. The name of the organisation was changed from The Depositary & Trustee Association - (DATA) to The UK Depositary Association in October 2023. Its members act as depositaries and trustees of UK Authorised Funds as well as other types of fund. Affiliate members This category of membership is available to depositaries and trustees who act for funds other than UK Authorised Funds. These include Investment Trusts, Private Equity, Real Estate and Venture Capital Trusts, both EEA and non-EEA domiciled, as well as non-EEA AIFs managed by EU AIFMs. Both DATA Members and DATA Affiliate Members may act for these types of funds.
