To provide a forum for the exchange of information and views by the constituent societies on matters relating to the education and professional development of naval architects, marine engineers and others in the field of naval technology. b. To provide a link between the members of CEMT and the European Union, by which the constituent societies may be informed of matters relating to the education and professional development of naval architects, marine engineers and others in the field of naval technology, being discussed or considered by any body of the European Union. c.
