Mission & Goals
Working at the intersection of environmental justice, education and fashion development, our mission is to identify and manifest alternatives to the dominant model of fashion – alternatives that bring forth ecological prosperity, as opposed to destruction, and that inspire citizens to form a relationship with fashion that extends beyond their role as consumer. Tangibly our goal is to catalyze a Justice-Led Circular Economy. We work in solidarity with the Kantamanto Secondhand Clothing Market in Accra, Ghana -- the world's largest reuse hub -- to develop new pathways for textile waste, to clean up environmental damage caused by clothing waste in Accra and to create dignified income opportunities for the most vulnerable populations within the immense global fashion ecosystem.
EU Legislative Interests
We target actions centered through the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles and specifically within that strategy Extended Producer Responsibility policies at the EU level and across member states.
