Mission & Goals
The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria is an organization of notaries in the Republic of Bulgaria, established in accordance with the Notaries and Notarial Activities Act. The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria is composed of all notaries registered in the Chamber’s register.The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria organizes and supports the notarial activities of notaries, takes care of preserving and raising the prestige of the profession, and maintains international contacts with similar organizations abroad.

General Communication Activities planned: Meetings with Commissioners Specific Communication activity: Meeting on the 20th of March with Mrs. Ekaterina Zaharieva - European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation. The current President of the Notary Chamber of Bulgaria, Mrs. Luiza Stoeva, the Vice- President, Mr. Krasimir Anadoliev, and the Vice-President Mr. Ivaylo Ivanov have a meeting scheduled on the 20th of March with EU Commisionner Mrs. Ekaterina Zaharieva. Subject of the meeting: Assistance to the Bulgarian Notary in the Context of the Transition to Highly Digitized Services in Order to Protect the Rule of Law

1. The International Union of Notaries (UINL) - an organization that aims to promote, co-ordinate and develop the function and activities of Notary throughout the world. The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria is a member of UINL. 2. The Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) - a nonprofit organisation of notaries from 22 European countries. The CNUE is the official body representing the notariat in dealings with the institutions of the European Union. Speaking for the profession, it expresses the joint decisions of its members to the European Union. The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria is a member of UINL. 3. European Notarial Network (ENN) - of a network of interlocutors covering the EU countries with a notariat. 4. Union of Bulgarian Jurists - the Union of Jurists in Bulgaria is the largest legal non-governmental organisation, established in 1966. It brings together lawyers from all legal professions who have a higher legal education.

The Notary Chamber of the Republic of Bulgaria does not carry out independent policies at the level of the European Union. Its activities in this direction are carried out indirectly through its membership in international organisations - CNUE and UINL. The Membership fee is 1300 BGN and there are 745 notaries members. We do not have premises in Europe and no employees. The maximum budget for International Activity (not only activities on EU level) is 10 000 EUR and it is mainly based on membership fees: https://notary-chamber.bg/bg/notaries .
