Mission & Goals
The Nettuniani is a climate tech startup building AI- and IoT-based systems for urban flood preparedness, ESG reporting, and climate resilience. Our activities directly contribute to the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission. As a recognized winner of the EU Sparks for Climate 2024 and a Startup Innovativa, we aim to foster public–private partnerships that support digital awareness, predictive risk monitoring, and EU-aligned infrastructure resilience.

Communication Activities
We engage in EU-backed initiatives through official recognition events, award ceremonies, and institutional platforms. Notably, we were selected in the EU Sparks for Climate Hackathon and invited to participate in the Knowledge Valorisation campaign and the Mission Adaptation Community. Outputs include digital education tools, animated case studies, and ESG briefings for institutions and local actors. These efforts promote preparedness, foresight, and smart city adaptation.

The Nettuniani was legally incorporated in March 2025 and has not yet closed any financial year. Although the co-founders participated in the EU Sparks for Climate 2024 hackathon and received individual prizes (€1,000 each), the funds were awarded personally to a the team of 5, not to the company. Gustavo Chiquín (co-founder) and Anisoara Neis (co-founder) fund the incorporation of The Nettuniani. The entity has not received direct EU grants and is fully self-funded to date.
