Mission & Goals
The Innovation in Politics Institute is a mission-driven company. We identify, develop and apply innovations in politics – to strengthen democracy in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to recognise and support those political professionals who have the courage to break new ground, are creative and achieve better results – across party lines and across borders – to make democratic politics more successful. To that end, we co-create long-term programmes with a positive impact on politics and society, like awards for state-of-the-art political work, training and networking opportunities for political professionals, and platforms for democratic practice exchange. We have offices in Vienna and Berlin and partners in Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.

ad 1., 2. ACT NOW youth network , Local Labs ("Innovating local communities"), ad 3., 5. European Capital of Democracy Initiative (Call + ECoD City Network), operated by ECoD gemeinnützige GmbH (ECoD NPO including the ECoD Citzens' Jury (CoE-wide online campaign + platform), 4,000 Europeans to engage and participate in activities related to pressing European matters ad 5. ACT NOW Mayors' Network and annual Conference, supporting local politicians in tackling current challenges they face, such as migration flows, the climate crisis, and increasing social division resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic ad 6.
