Mission & Goals
The Humane Slaughter Association (HSA) is an international charity which works to improve welfare for food animals during transport, marketing, slaughter, and killing for disease control and welfare reasons. It works through research, education, training, technical advances and scientific meetings to bring practical, lasting improvements in food animal welfare worldwide.
