The Habitat Foundation aims, with the help of volunteers, to preserve viable populations of wild plants and animals and their habitats, mainly in Europe.

Communication Activities
- Organising activities for volunteers to help nature researchers and conservationists, such as field surveys on the presence of animals and plants; counts of birds; workshops about field survey techniques; advise about conservation measures etc.; - Assist in capacity building of national and local nature research and conservation NGOs; - Lobby for better protection of European plant and animal species and their habitats.
