Mission & Goals
Founded and chaired by Nobel laureate and former U.S. vice president Al Gore, The Climate Reality Project is dedicated to catalysing a global solution to the climate crisis. The European branch of The Climate Reality Project seeks to engage with European communities, empowering them to articulate greater climate ambitions and enabling citizens to co-create responses to the climate crisis, thus generating bottom-up support for the implementation of the Paris Agreement. Additionally, as a member of regional and global networks of climate organisations, we contribute to campaigns establishing a new narrative about the triple crisis (climate, peace, cost-of-living) and the necessity to reach new climate objectives based on principles of justice: coal-free Europe by 2030 and fossil fuels-free Europe by 2035.
