Mission & Goals
Texterous is an innovative technology company dedicated to developing bespoke software solutions powered by large language models and generative AI tools. The primary mission is to enhance productivity and decision-making for organisations by delivering scalable, efficient, and user-friendly AI-driven applications. The organisation operates at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and practical business applications. Texterous works closely with medium to large enterprises, as well as government and academic institutions, to address complex challenges associated with unstructured data processing, operational inefficiencies, and knowledge management. Texterous provides tailored AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, advanced search tools, and comprehensive AI automation frameworks. Our approach is highly customisable, ensuring that each client receives a solution designed to seamlessly integrate into their existing workflows and IT infrastructure.
EU Legislative Interests
Texterous engages in interest representation activities focused on specific legislative and policy initiatives that shape the European Union’s digital, data, privacy, and AI regulatory landscape. In particular, our activities target: 1. Proposal for a Regulation laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act) – COM(2021) 206 final 2. Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act) 3. Regulation (EU) 2022/1925 on contestable and fair markets in the digital sector (Digital Markets Act) 4. Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright and related rights in the Digital Single Market 5. Proposal for a Regulation on the European Health Data Space – COM(2022) 197 final 6. Proposal for a Regulation on privacy and electronic communications (ePrivacy Regulation) – COM(2017) 10 final 7. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) 8. Directive (EU) 2016/1148 concerning measures for a high common level of security of network and information systems across the Union (NIS Directive) and its recast (NIS2 Directive – Directive (EU) 2022/2555) These instruments are central to our advocacy and representation efforts, especially in relation to responsible AI innovation, algorithmic transparency, privacy-preserving technologies, and fair digital competition.
