Mission & Goals
Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TdH NL) is an international non-governmental organisation committed to stopping all forms of child labour and sexual exploitation of children. Since 1965, TdH NL protects children around the world from violence, harmful labour, trafficking and sexual exploitation in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. TdH NL’s mission is to protect children by preventing and stopping child exploitation, and by empowering children to make their voices count. Terre des Hommes Netherlands tackles the systems enabling exploitation and develop scalable, evidence-based solutions.

It should be noted that Terre des Hommes Netherlands is an independent legal entity with its own governance, finances, staff, strategic plan, and public affairs agenda. Terre des Hommes Netherlands is a member of the ECLAG coalition (European Child Sexual Abuse Legislation Advocacy Group).
