Mission & Goals
TerraCycle is a for-profit, mission driven waste management company, active for 20 years across 21 markets. TerraCycle partners with stakeholders (i.e. retailers, brands, cities, consumers) to create systems for collection and recycling that divert waste from landfills and incineration for a wide range of products and packaging that are traditionally difficult to recycle and not typically recyclable through conventional curbside programs, including snack wrappers, coffee capsules, toys, PPE, cosmetics, textiles, and even cigarette butts. TerraCycle also integrates recycled materials into products, creating closed-loop systems (e.g., toothbrush to toothbrush) or using non-traditional sources (e.g., ocean PET). TerraCycle also launched Loop, a global pre-fill reuse platform for manufacturers and retailers in France, Japan and the US.
