Mission & Goals
The project entails the construction and operation of a modern intermodal terminal in Horgoš- Serbia, strategically located on the EU-Western Balkans transport corridor and includes the development of a logistics center and that reduces the burden on the Serbian-Hungarian border crossing. The terminal will support the transfer of cargo between road and rail, integrate customs clearance processes for both Serbia and the EU, and enable high-efficiency cross-border trade logistics. Objectives: Facilitate modal shift from road to rail and enhance cross-border freight efficiency Strengthen Serbia’s and the Balkan countries’ integration into EU supply chains Improve customs handling times at the EU external border Promote sustainable transport and reduce CO2 emissions Increase the competitiveness of containerized freight transport Establish the most important logistics hub in the region, leveraging trade flows between Serbia and the EU

The purpose of our application is to obtain a transparency registration number needed for the open WBIF call - Growth plan for the Western Balkans and support investments in the region by EU/EEA/Western Balkans companies.
