Mission & Goals
TELLgen Srls is a European technology company focused on the research, development and application of artificial intelligence systems, with particular emphasis on autonomous and physical AI. The organisation develops AI-based capabilities for real-world environments, including autonomous aerial systems, perception-driven control, and human–AI cooperative operation. Its activities contribute to the advancement of European technological capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, drone technologies, and resilient autonomous systems, with relevance to security, infrastructure, and emerging defence-related applications. TELLgen aims to support the development of reliable, transparent and interoperable AI solutions aligned with European values, promoting innovation, safety, and responsible integration of AI into operational contexts.
EU Legislative Interests
TELLgen Srls targets European Union legislative and policy initiatives related to artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, aviation, surveillance, and security-oriented technological development. In particular, the organisation’s activities are aligned with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act), which establishes the legal framework for the development, deployment, and use of AI systems within the European Union. TELLgen’s work on AI-based autonomous systems, including perception-driven control and human–AI cooperative operation, is developed with consideration of requirements related to safety, transparency, accountability, and risk management. The organisation also follows the regulatory framework for unmanned aircraft systems, including Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 on the rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945 on unmanned aircraft systems and on third-country operators of unmanned aircraft systems. These frameworks are directly relevant to TELLgen’s development of autonomous aerial systems and operational integration in aviation contexts. In addition, TELLgen engages with the policy framework outlined in A Drone Strategy 2.0 for a Smart and Sustainable Unmanned Aircraft Ecosystem in Europe (COM(2022) 652 final), which supports the development of advanced drone technologies, including automation, safety, and integration into European airspace. The organisation also aligns its activities with the Joint Communication on European Defence Readiness 2030, which defines priorities for strengthening European defence capabilities, including autonomous systems, drone and counter-drone technologies, surveillance, and artificial intelligence. TELLgen’s research and development activities contribute to these priorities, particularly in the areas of resilient autonomous operation, interoperability, and operational readiness in complex and degraded environments. Through participation in European Commission initiatives, calls, and innovation ecosystems, TELLgen represents its interests by contributing technical expertise in AI-based autonomous aerial systems and by aligning its development activities with European regulatory and policy frameworks in aviation, security, and defence.
Communication Activities
TELLgen Srls has not conducted direct lobbying or formal outreach activities with EU institutions to date. The organisation’s activities consist primarily of participation in EU-level initiatives, calls, and innovation ecosystems related to artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and drone technologies. TELLgen also engages in internal research, technical development, and preparation of contributions aligned with EU policy frameworks, including the Artificial Intelligence Act, aviation regulations for unmanned aircraft systems, and initiatives related to drone technologies and defence readiness. Communication activities include the preparation of technical materials, research outputs, and participation in professional and innovation networks, with the objective of aligning development activities with European regulatory and policy priorities.

Additional Information
The costs related to activities covered by the Register are limited, as these activities are carried out on a part-time basis and are not associated with a dedicated budget. The individuals involved contribute to interest representation activities as part of broader responsibilities within the organisation, and their time is not separately accounted for as a distinct cost centre. No external intermediaries, consultancy services, or specific event, travel, or publication budgets have been allocated to these activities. Office and operational costs are not specifically attributable to interest representation activities and are therefore not included as separate costs. As a result, the declared estimate reflects a conservative approximation of direct and identifiable costs related to these activities.
