EU Legislative Interests
Telit Cinterion focuses on EU legislative initiatives that shape the digital and connected economy, particularly those impacting IoT, connectivity, data governance, and cybersecurity. Key policies and proposals include: EU Data Act – ensuring fair access and sharing of data generated by connected devices to foster innovation and competition. Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) – establishing mandatory cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements, including IoT devices. AI Act – setting risk-based requirements for AI systems, relevant for IoT solutions integrating AI capabilities. NIS2 Directive – strengthening cybersecurity and resilience for critical infrastructure and digital services.
