Mission & Goals
Telenor holds controlling interests in telecommunications operations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Bangladesh and Pakistan. More on www.telenor.com The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Telenor offers electronic communications services, including fixed and mobile broadband services, as well as television distribution services. The main task of the Telenor Representative Office in Brussels is to follow EU policy-making processes affecting Telenor's operations globally and to maintain an open and transparent dialogue with policy makers.
EU Legislative Interests
All EU policies and legislative proposal pertaining to the electronic communications sector, ie. telecom, digital, cybersecurity, privacy, competition policies. The office assists Telenor's European operations with implementation issues related to the EU legislation with a view to strengthening a harmonised implementation.
