Mission & Goals

Tearfund's vision is to see people freed from poverty, living transformed lives and reaching their God given potential. Tearfund works towards a world without injustice and poverty, where people recognize their own worth and talents and utilize them within their local communities. We support projects that build social cohesion and improve living conditions. Together with local partners, we achieve sustainable local change. We focus on the very poorest, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, or political affiliation. Tearfund Netherlands is part of the Tearfund family working through a worldwide network of local churches in over 50 countries.
