Mission & Goals

We bring global leaders – non-executive directors, top executives, experts – together for peer learning sessions. They are interested in understanding activities and decisions in the EU and EC but they do not use our sessions to represent individual or collective interest, to advocate, or to exercise influence. All of these leaders participate individually, rather than as representatives of the companies they work with. From time to time, senior regulators, policymakers and government executives join our discussions because they are confident that they will not be lobbied. These government leaders have included leading OECD, EU, and EC executives, governors of the US Federal Reserve, Chairs and other Commissioners of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and senior leaders of the US Department of Justice, including former FBI Director Christopher Wray.

EU Legislative Interests

We have invited Inge Bernaerts, Director for Strategy and Policy, Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP), and Sven Gentner, Head of Unit for Financial Reporting, Audit and Rating Agencies, Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA), to a discussion on 18 March 2026; they are prepared to join the meeting but we were asked to complete the registration form. By longstanding company policy (available upon request), we do not engage in advocacy, representation, influence or lobbying activities, on behalf of ourselves, the leaders who participate in our meetings, or the groups who pay for our services. We are therefore not aiming to influence any EU policies or legislative proposals or "targeting" any specific subject matter. Our members may be interested in discussing matters related to EU sustainability reporting and corporate disclosure frameworks, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), related EU sustainability reporting simplification initiatives, and general EU competition policy, but without seeking to influence, only to understand, such policies and legislation.
