Mission & Goals

The mission of the Tampere University is to promote free research and academic and artistic education, to provide higher education based on research specified by legislation on universities. Tampere University in an independent, multidisciplinary science and art community whose activities are based on the research and teaching, including high-quality medicine, economics, technology and social sciences, as well as new types of multidisciplinary research and teaching arising from these fields.
