Mission & Goals
SICOS is the french national organisation representing fine chemistry and biochemistry industry. It now has nearly 40 member companies, subsidiaries of large groups, SMEs and ETIs. Our sector supplies intermediates and active materials to the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food , feed and other cutting-edge sectors such as electronics. SICOS particularly supports the dynamic driven in France within the framework of the “Health Industries and Technologies” and “Chemistry & Materials” sector contracts to strengthen and sustainably secure the complex value chains of fine chemicals and by creating a favorable fabric. to the development of industrial biotech. For this, SICOS is banking on innovation, particularly in production processes and on the réindustrialisation of the production of APIs, pharmaceutical intermediates and regulated raw materials.
