Mission & Goals
Sylvera exists to incentivise investment in real climate action. We began in early 2020 by producing the first carbon credit ratings, fully independent and objective. This has created transparency around credit quality, which has resulted in price premiums for higher quality projects, and hence aligns with the company's mission of helping to channel finance to where it can have the greatest climate impact. Since then we have expanded our datasets to include world-leading biomass quantification data, carbon credit pricing data, and commodity carbon intensity data.
EU Legislative Interests
The EU is a globally eminent centre for climate and carbon markets policy - as such we seek to learn more about the EU's approach, so that we can better inform our own work, and better support governments around the world with theirs. We also seek to share our data and insights with EU institutions and officials, as appropriate, to ensure the best possible basis for decision making.
