Mission & Goals
Swity d.o.o. is a food processing company from Bosnia and Herzegovina specialized in fruit and vegetable processing. The company produces natural fruit juices, jams, marmalades, baby food, fruit purees, fruit preparations and pasteurized vegetables. Swity cooperates with local farmers and suppliers and focuses on modernization of production processes, food safety, energy efficiency, renewable energy and environmentally responsible waste and wastewater management. The company follows EU policies related to the European Green Deal, Farm to Fork Strategy, circular economy and green and digital transition. Swity is developing investment projects aimed at improving sustainability, competitiveness, export capacities and compliance with EU standards in the agri-food sector.
EU Legislative Interests
Swity d.o.o. follows and aligns its activities with key European Union policies related to sustainable food production, environmental protection, energy efficiency and circular economy. The company particularly follows: • European Green Deal – reduction of CO₂ emissions, renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable waste management; • Farm to Fork Strategy – food safety, sustainable food processing and resilient supply chains; • EU industrial and SME policies – modernization, digitalization and competitiveness of the food industry sector; • Circular Economy Action Plan – bio-waste utilization and environmentally responsible wastewater management; • Cohesion Policy, InvestEU and WBIF initiatives – development of investment projects related to food processing, environmental protection and rural development; • EU enlargement and alignment policies for the Western Balkans – compliance with EU food safety, hygiene and environmental standards. Swity also follows EU legislation related to food labeling, packaging materials, greenhouse gas emissions, water management and waste treatment.
Communication Activities
Swity d.o.o. carries out communication activities aimed at promoting sustainable development, local agriculture, food safety and environmentally responsible food production in line with European Union policies. Activities include: • participation in regional and international trade fairs and business events related to the food industry and sustainable development; • organization of presentations and visits for partners, local producers, schools and local community representatives; • publication of promotional and educational content through the company website and social media channels; • workshops and internal trainings related to HACCP standards, energy efficiency, sustainable packaging and environmental protection; • preparation of investment and development projects related to EU policies such as the European Green Deal, Farm to Fork Strategy, circular economy and digital transition; • communication with partners, institutions and organizations regarding financing opportunities through EU and international programs. The company also implements local community support and educational initiatives promoting sustainable food production. Future activities include projects related to renewable energy, wastewater treatment, energy efficiency and development of new production capacities.

Swity d.o.o. also participates in activities, consultations and projects supported by international organizations and donor programs operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including initiatives related to sustainable production, circular economy and digitalization. The company follows and participates in regional SME and agri-food sector events and is developing cooperation with relevant business and development networks in the Western Balkans and the European Union.

Swity d.o.o. is a privately owned family company registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina and does not have formal members in the sense of associations or networks. The company operates as an independent legal entity and does not belong to a holding structure or group of affiliated companies. Swity d.o.o. cooperates with a network of local suppliers, individual fruit and vegetable producers and business partners from the agri-food sector. Additional Information
Activities related to the Transparency Register during the previous financial year were limited and mainly related to internal monitoring of EU policies, preparation of project documentation, communication with partners and participation in consultations related to EU development and investment initiatives. No external lobbyists, consultants or representation offices were engaged. All activities were carried out internally by the company’s management and development staff as part of regular business and project development activities.
