Mission & Goals
The Swedish Medical Association is the union and professional organisation for doctors. Patient safety, the work environment, salaries, working hours, training and research are some of the issues that are of great importance for the organisation.
EU Legislative Interests
The implementation of the professional qualifications directive in Sweden and in other EU member states. As well as working towards exclusion of the medical professions out of the proportionality test in regulation of professions, anti-microbial resistance, eHealth initiatives.
