Mission & Goals
Hanken School of Economics is a leading university-level business school with 110 years of experience in education and research in economics and business administration. Hanken has three international accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS), which only 1 percent of business schools have achieved worldwide, as well as the HRS4R. In total Hanken employs 108 research FTE. Around 2 690 students are currently enrolled in the BSc and MSc programs and 125 in PhD programs. Hanken has close ties to the business community and an active network with over 14,000 alumni in more than 70 countries. Research at Hanken is carried out at our academic departments (Department of Finance and Economics, Department of Accounting and Commercial Law, Department of Marketing, Department of Management and Organisation), as well as research centres located within or between the departments. Hanken is part of ENGAGE.EU university alliance.

Communication Activities
-Comments for Horizon Europe (HEU) Strategic Plan 2021-2027 cluster 5 on freight mobility -Comments for Humanitarian Logistics Policy and a meeting with DG ECHO -The Finnish financial sector’s proposals for the advancement of ESG data reporting and management in the EU -Hanken is leading WORM HEU-project and was the lead coordinator of EU Horizon2020 COVID-19 emergency response project HERoS and member in the EU Health Policy Platform, and a partner in EU Horizon 2020 project CORE and Horizon Europe projects PALOMERA, TC4BE and ReMuNet.
