Mission & Goals
Svensk Dagligvaruhandel är branschorganisationen för dagligvaruhandeln i Sverige. Våra medlemmar är Axfood AB, Coop Sverige AB, ICA Sverige AB, Lidl Sverige KB och Livsmedelshandlarna. Dagligvaruhandeln är en viktig del i hela livsmedelskedjan och Svensk Dagligvaruhandel verkar för att vi som bransch tar ett aktivt och gemensamt ansvar för konkurrensneutrala frågor.
EU Legislative Interests
We primarily follow EU initiatives and legislative proposals related to sustainability and competitiveness of the retail and grocery sector, including: – the Competitiveness Check / Competitiveness Compass – the European Green Deal – the Farm to Fork Strategy and the broader EU vision for agriculture and food – the Circular Economy Action Plan – the Single Market Strategy – other issues related to sustainability, packaging, and food law proposals.
Communication Activities
We engage in member briefings and stakeholder dialogues on EU regulatory developments, coordinate the industry's positions on specific legislative files, and communicate policy updates to our members. We also contribute to public consultations and prepare joint letters or position papers to EU institutions when relevant.
