Communication Activities
Communication activities centre around dissemination of accurate and practical guidance around EU Policy and Regulation at industry speaking events, newsletters, social media and our own website. Our entire remit is based on verifiable information that serves to inform and improve the ability of the leather manufacturers to meet their EDG responsibilities. We provide education, training and audit certification for the leather industry that is tailored to provide verification of compliance within the existing and incoming EU legislative frameworks. Supporting small tanneries and other value chain stakeholders to even understand the requirements is challenging and a large part of our remit. We work with stakeholders in many of the key risk areas that are directly impacted by the incoming EUDR and CSRD/CSDDD.
