Mission & Goals
Sustainability Embassy in Romania (SER) is an independent and apolitical NGO, founded in 2017, with the mission to promote the business model where companies solve social and environmental problems without sacrificing economic efficiency and profit. SER's vision: people in Romania live in a fair and prosperous society, and in a healthy environment. Strategic direction & goals: - Provide instruments and know how for business transparency and sustainable practice; - Align public policies to sustainable development principles and objectives; - Promote sustainable behaviors to the Romanian general public; - Provide opportunities for partnerships, networking and knowledge-sharing between professionals in companies, NGOs and public institutions; - Evaluate and monitor progress on sustainable development at national level. ...ALL IN LINE WITH THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) FROM THE UN AND THEIR TARGETS
