Mission & Goals
Survival International is the global movement for Indigenous peoples’ rights. Since 1969, we work in partnership with Indigenous peoples worldwide to defend their lives and lands, and to challenge racism, land theft and the genocidal violence they face. Survival documents and exposes atrocities committed against Indigenous peoples and takes direct action to stop them. We run international campaigns to bring these abuses to light and mobilize public opinion, in order to put pressure on governments and other responsible actors.
