Submer aims to make European data centers a driver of the Energy Transition and a foundation for EU competitiveness in AI and digital sovereignty. Submer's infrastructure solutions help reduce resource consumption while supporting the growth of advanced computing across the EU. The company works to ensure data centers can expand sustainably within the Union, while contributing to the economy and expanding our sovereign digital capacity. Submer is interested in collaborating with EU institutions and stakeholders to promote policies that accelerate sustainable infrastructure and strengthen Europe’s strategic position.

Discussion on how to make the EU more competitive. Touching on the following areas: 1) demand creation/offtake 2) affordable and reliable inputs (i.e., electricity, CRMs, semiconductors) 3) financing conditions (private capital and efficacy of public financing/de-risking instruments) 4) operating conditions (i.e., permitting – grid connection)
