Mission & Goals
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Founded by Irish entrepreneurs Patrick and John Collison, Stripe combines economic infrastructure with a set of applications for new business models like crowdfunding and marketplaces, fraud prevention, and analytics. Stripe partners with established financial institutions including banks, card schemes and payment methods, and its tools help companies grow their business across borders within Europe and internationally.
