Mission & Goals
Die Stiftung Verantwortungseigentum fördert eine nachhaltige und werteorientierte Wirtschaftsweise durch die Weiterentwicklung des Verantwortungseigentums in Deutschland und Europa, bei dem die zweckorientierte Aufgabenerfüllung von Unternehmungen unter Berücksichtigung der Interessen aller Stakeholder im Sinne einer freiheitlichen Gesellschaft im Fokus steht. Sie vertritt das Konzept Verantwortungseigentum im öffentlichen Diskurs und gestaltet rechtliche und politische Rahmenbedingungen mit.
EU Legislative Interests
Initiative for the envisioned legal framework for “steward-ownership” in Germany, the so-called “Corporation with asset lock” (“Gesellschaft mit gebundenem Vermögen”). In addition, there is interest in a European-level legal form solution that includes core elements such as asset lock and the separation of voting and profit rights, within the framework of the 28th Regime initiative. Advocacy for the development of a European standard for equity-like debt instruments, including a specific equity-like debt instrument applicable across Europe, independent of specific ownership models such as steward ownership (but including such).

Meeting, consulting and conversations with decision-makers, particularly with the members of European institutions potentially contributing to the 28th regime initiative, including e-mail communication and in person meetings and events.
