Mission & Goals
Reach for Change is an international non profit organization with the mission to unleash the power of social entrepreneurs to create a world where everyone can shape their own future. We were founded in 2010 and have so far supported more than 3,000 change leaders and reached over 5 million children, youth and other vulnerable groups. As well as capacity development, we also work to develop local and national social entrepreneurship ecosystems and have over the years become prominent sectoral stakeholders in countries such as Sweden, Latvia, Ghana and Ethiopia. Our 2030 strategy has challenged us to multiply our impact ten-fold and reach over 30 million children, youth and other vulnerable groups over the next decade, focusing particularly on the thematic areas of poverty, inequality and climate change.
EU Legislative Interests
Reach for Change follows EU initiatives, policies and legislative developments in the field of: - social economy - social entrepreneurship - social innovation More specifically, Reach for Change follows the EU initiatives and policies related to: - The EU Social Economy Action Plan (SEAP) - The European Pillar of Social Rights - Pact for Skills (RfC is a member) Reach for Change is also member of GECES - the Commission Expert Group on the Social Economy and Social enterprises - hence has an ability to directly input on EU level legislation and policy linked to our sector of expertise
Communication Activities
Reach for Change regularly hosts events and campaigns linked to its missions to unleash the potential of social entrepreneurs and create a better world for children and youth. An example of this includes our annual Partnering for Change events which bring together cross-sector stakeholders to discuss thematic topics linked to sustainability, innovation and Agenda 2030.
