Mission & Goals

Stichting Touchtheos is a non-profit foundation registered in the Netherlands. Its mission is to promote cultural exchange, spiritual education, social cohesion and mutual understanding, with a particular focus on dialogue between Europe and other cultures. The foundation develops educational activities, cultural initiatives, community dialogues and public events that aim to foster emotional well-being, freedom of belief, intercultural understanding and peaceful coexistence. It operates on a non-commercial basis and serves the public interest.

EU Legislative Interests

The organisation may participate in European Commission public consultations and calls for evidence related to the following EU policies and strategies: – Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union; – EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025 and subsequent EU gender equality policy initiatives; – EU Strategy on the Rights of the Child; – EU Mental Health and Well-being initiatives under the European Health Union; – EU policies on freedom of religion or belief and non-discrimination; – EU education and lifelong learning policies, including Erasmus+ and the European Education Area; – EU policies on social inclusion, civil society participation and fundamental rights.

Communication Activities

Participation in public consultations, policy dialogues, conferences, and awareness-raising activities related to education, culture, social inclusion, and civil society development at EU level.

Organisation Members

Stichting Touchtheos is governed by a board of directors and operates independently. It cooperates with partner organisations on a project basis where relevant, without formal membership or affiliation structures at EU level.

Additional Information

The foundation operates on a non-profit and non-remunerated basis. Board members and contributors are not salaried. EU-level engagement currently focuses on monitoring, research, and participation in open consultations and public events, resulting in limited annual costs. The estimated costs reflect primarily internal coordination, research, online meetings and limited travel related to EU-level dialogue activities, which are currently conducted on a modest and proportionate scale.
