Mission & Goals
Offlimits is the centre of expertise in the Netherlands combatting online transgressive behaviours, with a focus on child sexual abuse and exploitation. Offlimits operates three key services: the hotline, Meldpunt Kinderporno, that receives public report on illegal content, in particular child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and removes such content swiftly; the helpline, Helpwanted, that provides a channel for children, young people and adults alike to seek advice on dealing with various forms of online harm; and the prevention line, Stop it Now, that offers support to anyone who has concerns about his or her sexual feelings and/or behaviour towards minors. Offlimits is also the coordinator of the Dutch Safer Internet Centre, and a recognised Trusted Flagger under the Digital Services Act.

Communication Activities
Offlimits is an active member of the Insafe and EU Safer Internet Centre network under the European strategy for a better internet for kids (BIK+ Strategy). Offlimits is also a recognised Trusted Flagger under the Digital Services Act and has contributed to the public consultation on the protection of minors guidelines. In addition, Offlimits shared our expertise with the European Commission in the context of investigations into adult websites.
