Mission & Goals
Stichting Luchtvaart in Transitie is a non-profit foundation. Its primary goal is to execute the Dutch national R&I programme in aviation (Luchtvaart in Transitie) that aims to accelerate the development and adoption of technologies and systems that will enable climate neutral and/or zero-emissions commercial aviation, and enable the establishment of a sustainable and competitive "zero emissions" aviation sector within the country. The Stichting manages national grant funded innovation projects on behalf of the Dutch Government as executing body. As a consequence, the foundation works closely with the Dutch national government (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and Ministry of Economic Affairs) to determine additional public and private funding routes and instruments to support its primary goal. An important element of this is the collaboration with other national programmes and to develop synergies with the R&I efforts in the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe.
