Mission & Goals
Grandparents for the Climate (The Netherlands) is a group of very concerned grandparents and other seniors who want to contribute to a livable world for the next generations around the world. It does this by promoting adequate climate policy in government and industry and by promoting climate awareness and behavioral change among citizens.

European Green Deal and all elements of its agenda, including but not limited to ETS, Industrial policy, Agricultural policy
Communication Activities
- bi-weekly demonstrations in front of the Dutch Parliament - regular demonstrations in a growing number of Dutch cities - writing letters with evaluations and proposals to politicians - writing articles for newspapers - participating in national climate awareness events - organizing and presenting at lectures and webinars

Additional Information
Our informal movement has grown since the Paris Climate Conference to a group of about 5000 participants. In 2025 we will transition from an informal but active and visible group to a more formalized organization, wit its owwn funding needs.
