Mission & Goals
The Global Organization for PHA is a member-driven, non-profit initiative to accelerate the adoption of biobased, biodegradable (and compostable) materials (BBM). BBM's such as Polyhydroxyalkanoate biopolymers (PHA) as a material solution offer an unique opportunity to reducing greenhouse gases for incinerating fossil plastics, environmental plastics pollution and in establishing a circular economy, by offering a range of sustainable, high-quality and competitive materials and products thereof, based on renewable carbon feedstocks and offering all options at the end of their lives (or use) - reuse, recycle, compost, biodegrade. GO!PHA provides a platform for sharing experiences, knowledge and developments, and to facilitate initiatives.
