Mission & Goals
Science, research, testing, design, scientific and technical expertise on issues of safety, environmental friendliness, and energy efficiency, including the following main R&D activities: - meeting the needs of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Transport and the Economy in Scientific, Informational, Technological, Regulatory, and Expert Support;- harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the EU norms; - participation in the formation of Transport Sector Strategy & Legislation; - interdepartmental support (issues that include, interconnectedly, the Ministries of Infrastructure, Energy, Ecology and Natural Resources, Energy Efficiency, Economy, and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine); - technical regulation and economy studies in transport and linked sectors; - competence development and advanced training; - public and professional associations; - international R&D activities and integration; - engineering in the field of R&D equipment; - infrastructure engineering.
EU Legislative Interests
The implementation of Regulation (EU) 2020/1056 on Electronic Freight Transport Information and the development of Corridor Freight Information Systems for interoperable data sharing between all types of actors in multimodal freight transport and logistics chains
